Gerontophila is the term  used  to  describe  sexual attraction to older people.

It derives from the Greek: geron, meaning "old person" and philia, meaning "friendship".

I have a wonderful  set of illustrative paintings to show you here from an anonymous French artist from the early 1960’s, which was published quietly and  discretely in a very small, secretive batch.

It’s very unusual indeed in the erotic art world to show a whole series of illustrations or paintings entirely dealing with this subject alone  so I thought I’d share the entire series on a blog post.

There is a very voyueristic tone running through the illustrations which you may enjoy. The recurrent voyeur  dog is my favourite.

Animals,  especially pet dogs are cats are present in  many erotic drawings, etchings, painting and photographs right up to the 1960’s.

L’invitation (The Invitation)  was published in France in 1963 under the pseudonym Georges Delfau.

These delightful illustrations are by Paul Emille-Becat and were commissioned for an 1954 edition of poems titled Chansons pour Elle written by Paul Verlaine first, published in 1891.
